They peaked in October and turned mid in November. They’ve looked like crap lately.
Meanwhile teams like Texas developed quite a bit by year-end and both Vandy and even ND have maintained and are more deserving imo. Of course JMU and Tulane are a joke but TX, Vandy, ND > Bama, JMU, Tulane.

They weren’t. Not because they are Alabama - they were left out last year, the first team out, even though every metric said they should be in - but because they were the runner up in the SEC championship game.
If they had left Alabama out they would have opened up a whole new box of what the frick.

The issue is G5 teams getting auto bids. Get rid of them and you can have other bubble teams (Texas, Vanderbilt, ND and BYU) that could actually compete in the CFP.

I do find it pretty weird that no one one ESPN brought up the Florida State loss...they really are a shill network for the SEC
But this is a multi-tier problem...
If Notre Dame would just join a conference, alot of this would be solved. They are ridiculous. Just join the ACC ffs. They would have been in the conference championship game. So how bad can you feel for Notre Dame?
Also, the ACC is retarded. Their stupid tiebreaker system put Duke, a 5-loss team, in their championship. If Miami is in the Championship game, Notre Dame likely gets in.
