I don't disagree with them actually. But, the committee put us in.

Because they were parts of truly championship caliber teams. Bama now is just another welfare team clinging to relevance because they let a bunch of teams in now. Oh sure, they'll hang out where they are at, getting in some years and others just missing, but they are basically Tennessee at this point. Fun to watch though.

We're used to being one of the top 4 teams. All those guys had a lot higher bar to get what they earned.

Because he played in the BCS era when the argument was you were a contender for the national championship.

Players and fans compare them against previous Alabama teams and they do not come close to meeting the bar. The problem is no team is as good as the best teams from 2000 until 2022. The transfer portal changed that.

Because they suck. 3 losses should disqualify a team period. BYU isn’t in and they lost their Conference championship game.
