He had less talent than Bama did and yet look what he's done in that time frame vs what our coaches have done.

Yet there are people saying Deboer needs 4+ years to turn Bama around. Smh he's turning it around alright.

Lemme tell you about what a certain coach did in 2 years at Washington (including a win over a team that blew Saban out) vs what our coach has done...

I think what Cignetti has done at Indiana might be the most impressive coaching accomplishment in CFB history.

They are 72nd and dead last in the B1G in team talent this year on 247.

B10 is not as strong as folks make it out to be. If Indiana had our schedule, not sure Cignetti would have won 10 games.

Big 10 isn't as strong. But IU just knocked off a really good team. OSU is as talented as any team in the SEC.

Cignetti inherited a Fiero and not a Ferrari. What he has done in year 2 is very impressive. And it shows that you don't need 4-5 years to build a winning football team. I don't care if he's 64. He's a winner.

I agree, but Indiana is far more used to losing to MAC schools than beating Ohio State.

Ohio State has almost twice as many 5 stars as Indiana has 4 stars. Indiana is historically the worst power conference program.

They had 10 rushing yards at half and 58
Total in the game most coming on 1 run. So I would say they might be as bad as us in the run game.

Lol... he got through a weak conference, and then got MAULED in the trenches by Michigan.

The op most definitely has a valid point. In fact year two has always been a big year for coaches.

I thought DeBoer would at least be able to follow Saban as well as Les Miles did but hayul nawwww

Lol... exactly !

Yeah, we need kayla to turn us around from his first two seasons, of burning Sabans program to the ground.

No worries they'll be music and ice cream during the shamwow bowl practices, and the coaches will be urged to bring their families and make a vacation out of it. Not a minute over 40 hours a week for DeBoer and staff.

This dude tried to act tough by slapping a padded goal post... pfff wake up ! This dude is one interview away from calling us champions in life

True but ... they have 20 5th year seniors that actually play good fundamental football as a team. Similar to Michigan's NC team a couple of years ago.

Let see what Coach C does next year with a "new" team.

I would wager he will win more games and win them more impressively than Kaylen DeBose.

Greg Byrne should crawl to Bloomington, Indiana on his knees and beg Cignetti to come back to Tuscaloosa.
