Of course Bama should be in the CFP. You shouldn't be penalized because you ...

were good enough to make it to the championship game in the best conference in college football.

If they were in before the game, they should be in after the game - regardless of the result.

I mean it is what it is. If they are left out, not sure we can complain after that showing.

duh...unless you support removing the conference championship games. Then definitely root for ND and Miami to get in

This should be a nonissue. This is all a Notre Dame thing. They want them in but cannot without putting Miami in. Just put in Bama and Miami and be done with it.

I agree, but they may not get in.

A rational Dawg I appreciate the sentiment but fact is Bama has regressed since October. As a grad, I’m sitting here saying we aren’t worthy.

It’s not up to me, I think with two weeks Deboer could win a first round game but we aren’t good enough to win the whole thing and today was evidence of that.

Go beat OSU or Indiana for the natty baw

Hardly debatable. I love the SECCG and them missing the playoffs would kill it

Was there a 12 team playoff in 2017?

Didn't think so. Let's live in the now.

I agree that playing in the CG SHOULD NOT be held against you compared to somebody who didn't participate.

That’s irrelevant. Auburn was in before the championship game and the team they lost to was in the playoffs. Bama should not have benefitted from not making the SEC title just like they shouldn’t be penalized for making it this year. If you think otherwise about 2017 then you have to stay consistent and say Bama should be out

Too many 1 and 2 loss teams that deserve to be in.

So, why would the number of teams in the playoffs determine the impact of losing an extra game others didn't play in? Stop posting nonsense

It would be disrespectful to Georgia if Bama doesn’t get in. That would be saying the same wouldn’t have happened to ND, Miami etc if they played UGa. I believe it wouid e been worse for them as good as UGa is playing right now.
