If Texas was still Big 12, they’d be in.

Not a shot at the Horns. Just saying they are more than good enough to be sitting where Texas Tech is.

This conference does that.

Yes and that is what Texas will have to adapt to. They are not use to playing good teams almost every week. aTm has adapted!

You’re bragging about a team who didn’t make it that just beat you?

Hard to say if that’s true. Tech is good. Texas was Jekyl and Hyde all year.

If Horns were actually in CFP I still have no idea what team would show up. Q4 vs Georgia Horns or 2nd half vs Aggies Horns? Been that way all year which is why it’s no travesty they’re missing the show this year.

And frankly I’d rather be playing SEC games and enjoying them more week to week than playing the Iowa States, et al and finally getting a big game or two at the end of the year.

Texas played a Big 12 schedule last year, A&M played one this year. This conference does that.

Are they though?

Yes, when Arch is at his best they are very good.

He was not at his best for much of this year. Thus the slow start and struggles against State and Kentucky plus the loss at Florida.

I don't think the conference explains a lot of Arch's misfires thru midseason.

Where do you guys get so stupid ! What do we have to adopt to ?
a) Went to SEC Championship game in first year ( lost in OT ) Went to playoffs
b) Have the best in conference record over the two years we have been here (13-3)
c) Won more National Sports Championships than any other SEC team in our two years
d) Won the SEC All Sports title in our first year.
I think we did just fine in the Big Bad SEC,

Texas is 22-6 the last 2 years.

0-5 vs Georgia and Ohio State
22-1 vs everyone else

I’d say that’s pretty damn good.. we just need to stop playing those two assholes.. or figure out a way to beat them.

You all would also still be undefeated if they were in the B12.

No. They would have lost to Alabama and Ole Miss.

With conferences being as large as they are now, you might not see Georgia again til they have a new coach. And your AD still has time to cancel the OSU game

If Texas was still in the Southwest Conference, they’d be in.

Evidenced by their zero playoff appearances prior to this year?
