In the opinion of the SECr, who should LSU have hired in this coaching cycle?

Brian Kelly is a northern, kid-killer with a fake accent who likes to grind on recruits and hasn't won anything
Lane Kiffin is a narcissist, egomaniac who is overly flirtatious with young attractive woman and hasn't won anything
Who would have been the slam dunk fire for the program?

Lane Kiffin.
I’m not convinced he will become elite, and I think they overpaid for him (compared to proven results so far), but he’s the best bet out there this year.
The “who” was never my issue as much as the “how” (and that was much more on Kiffin than LSU).

The LSU coaching hire getting the most attention on "Tiger Droppings SEC Rant Page"? That's crazy. Next thing you know, somebody will say that there is more discussion in the "Cats Paws" magazine on the Kentucky coaching search than any of the others going on. What has the world come to?

Lane is the only answer. We got the best guy available (and yes he was available).
Non-trolling I get the anger from the Ole Miss fan base.
But Lane was the best guy that any open school could have gotten this cycle.
