Crazy that Drink is the 2nd longest tenure coach. Doesn’t even seem like he has been there long.

I recall how everyone was saying Kelly would run circles around Venables when both were hired that same year.
Now we have 6 new coaches in the 2026 class. How will that shake out? I do believe Kiffin will do good things at LSU.
The other point is how this shakes up recruiting. LSU will get theirs but for the rest their new coaches are all promises from potential and it may not resonate with recruits. They will have less to back up until they get some SEC games under their belt. Should help the other conference teams plucking some recruits and portals here and there to fill holes.

difference between BV and BK....OU knew they were hiring a lifelong coordinator with zero head coaching experience and were willing to suffer thru growing pains for a couple years and see if he can do it.
LSU thought they were hiring the next Saban who would take them directly to the promise land.

Fair point. I should also add in Riley in that 2022 year. Of all 3 BV was said to be worst hire. I knew OU would give BV time. USC mist be poor by keeping Riley with all the coaching sweepstakes this year lol
