Hopefully he does good. I really hope our defense doesn't go bye bye.

Not that it was amazing this year but it has consistently been the best thing since Stoops got here.

Why is there that much excitement for Will Stein from Kentucky fans? Oregon is a pretty good offensive team, does he have ties to Kentucky?

Good hire, he's someone I would have been happy with at Auburn if we had missed on Golesh and Sumrall.

Dad was linebacker at Kentucky and still has season tickets. Will grew up a Kentucky fan and played at Louisville.

What’s the expectation for Kentucky Football moving forward?

You guys fired 50% of your 10 win seasons all time. What does Stein need to do in order to be viewed as a successful hire?

Same here, Kentucky fired their most successful coach ever, the guy who made them relevant, made them dangerous to any opponent just to hire an assistant with Kentucky ties?!? Stoops put them on the map and deserved a much longer rope than 2 years. This will not go well and good riddance to you.

Lulz. Stoops brought us success, and I thank him…but there was no juice and no excitement. Change had to happen.

If so, I'm happy.

I do hope he hires a quality defensive staff as well.

How long was that rope y’all gave Kelly again?

In today’s NIL landscape, Kentucky couldn’t afford to wait 2 more years for Stoops to “turn it around”. And yes, a season of 4-8 and 5-7 with only 3 SEC wins between those two seasons moving to a 9-game schedule was necessary.

Spare me the pearl clutching.

You clearly have zero pulse on what's been going in here in Lexington. frick off.

He was there 13 years. He built the program up then lost his edge and was slow to change. He fell behind the curve. No SEC program that wants to be taken seriously can keep a coach like that.

Great hire with Kentucky ties. He’s young, and it has an excellent offensive mind. He’s been surrounded by winners and coached some pretty great talent. Very excited to see someone that will understand the current state of affairs of college football.
On a sidenote, it’s super cringe to see how quick the LSU fans talk shite after what they’ve been through lately. Talk on motherfrickers we’re not $100 million deep in debt on a prayer.
