2:50 mark. This is from the guy who arguably has been closest to the situation over the last week. But Kiffin is the villain...OK.
Rebs - if you need someone to blame - look no further than your AD

They don’t care. Lane had sex with beautiful women and they’re really mad, ok?

Yep. Our AD is the one that left and threatened to gut the program if he didn’t get his way.

Villain is a bit harsh but he is a no integrity childish brat.
Why it just own it.
The entire football world has known this about Lane for years, this dizzying spin by Louisiana State is just embarrassing at this point.

FAKE NEWS. another piece of spin coming out of oxford to make kiffin look bad and rationalize the decision

Read the article by John Talty. Lane had all but signed the contract with LSU after the family went to Baton Rouge. Lane played Keith in order to try and force his hand on coaching the playoffs and to help navigate the public fallout of this decision. It is 100% clear from everything coming out that Lane wanted out of Oxford and if it wasn't LSU it was going to be Florida or any other big job he could get. I'm fine with that, he was good for us for 6 years, he can move on. But everything done since that trip to Baton Rouge was about protecting his image, not about what was best for his actual employer or the players he coached. He wanted to coach that playoff game so people couldn't bash him for quitting on a playoff team, and for the money. It is hilarious to me that LSU is paying him for whatever success Ole Miss has in the playoff.
LSU fans should be thrilled to have him. He's an exciting coach who knows how to coach up an offense. But trying to stick up for how he handled this or who he is as a person is just stupid. If LSU was in the playoff and LSU found out he was leaving for Bama, does any lsu fan really think they'd want him to continue coaching their team through the playoff?

He has no integrity because he left for a better opportunity?

So you mean he’s a football coach. Got it. This is starting to border on pathetic with you guys

no, but having coached at several places that were not sad to see him go raises questions

It doesn't matter. And I'm not saying you're wrong, OP, because for all I know you're absolutely right. But it doesn't matter, because the narrative is going to be, "Lane Kiffin walked out on his team at Ole Miss, ruining the best season of his players' lives, to go coach at LSU."

Go check Twitter out.
Between the stuff on there, here and the internet as a whole, it's good others finally get a taste of how delusional those people are.
From "winning the day," to fake dogs, to stolen jerseys where a thief from southern miss walked into a large locker room and went directly to the QBs locker and stole the jersey while filming it without having to search for it, and more. They are small, strange little men.

But they just can’t. They have to paint his as a victim. That poor, poor Kiffin.
