How damaging is it to Ole Miss losing such a big piece of the staff?

It seems like a real problem. I guess I don't know football operations. I assume plays don't change that much but will need a play caller

Don't worry, this guy has everything under control.

Non the real damage was already done when lane left in the midst of a playoff run to go to a school that can “compete for a title”. That was a Public service announcement to all ball players that ole miss can’t win big.

Losing the S&C coach hurts because he was really good. Charlie can frick off from whence he came. You guys will have him strung up year one it will be very humorous to watch.

I would be more worried about your 2026 season.

LSU has 3 fanbases on their schedule that hate Lane. Get that popcorn ready

I guess only question who is doing game.plan and calling plays? Are those two thing the biggest worries I. This scenario?

Golding looks like he would be Belushi in the new rendition of Animal House. Make this happen

More like, if Superbad made a sequel and Jonah Hill had a beard

Joe Judge will call plays. He was already involved in all game planning aspects. Need some people to step up and send signs in.

We aren't doing an offensive install. There may be some drop off but I don't expect complete turnover offensively.

I really wanted the S&C guy to stay. It's December and other than Echoles and Wright taking some dings we have stayed amazingly healthy. It's been a huge part of the run they put together this season. HIs brother, CW Jr and at least one of the General Managers were always leaving with him. Someone put that stupid tweet out yesterday and I knew it didn't sound correct from jump street.

There's never been any real clarity as Charlie has been under Lane for close to a decade now. Either way they scheme some great games then completely shite the bed in others. Florida this year as an example go watch the two redzone trips that we came away with no points. It boggles the mind.

Savage is the one that really hurts, IMO. We've been pretty healthy all year, and that's a credit to the job he's done.

Lane doesn't like changes to his staff, but I think Garrison (OL) will be the first one that he gets rid of. Fans have been wanting him (and Weis Jr) gone for years. With Garrison, dude is just a bad OL coach.

We'll still be using the same playbook and calls we've used all season. Judge was heavily involved in offensive planning.

Pete will need to hire an OC (I say go after Kendal Briles), snag a RB coach (bring Nix back), and a DC (hoping for Durkin). I imagine Moncrief will get promoted to WR coach. No clue on who to go after for S&C coach.

Funny how Golding is a god now but all I ever heard while at Alabama and ole Miss is how the fans wanted him gone. Until now.

Two things:
1. Who said he was a god?
2. What Ole Miss fans wanted him gone?
