I was wondering what the connection there was but had forgotten they were the coordinators for Lane at Ole Miss for 2020 and 2021. Makes some sense.

Defense is the #1 issue at State, followed closely by OL.
You can fix the OL in the portal. If State gets Durkin, that's a big get toward being more competitive.

Would be a great get. I’d be sad to lose him at Auburn. There were talks of him getting looked at for HC at Auburn and other places.

Yeah, gave up at least 425 yards in every single conference game.
If we're going to have any kind of success with Lebby's offense we have to have a defense strong enough and deep enough to play on short rest.
