Other than money, what exactly does Lane gain by going to another SEC school?

I don't understand... He's built a good program at Ole Miss.

Other than money, that does he gain?

Ask your former coach, he mentioned it on game day yesterday.

According to Saban

quote:

”I think Lane’s decision is going to come down to one thing: where is the place that I can recruit the best players? And I think one of Lane’s apprehensions is that he’s had to use the portal to build his team at Ole Miss each year,” Saban said. “At LSU, he probably could recruit better talent and then just supplement his team by need with the portal.

Acting like the resources are the same in Oxford and in Baton Rouge is just intentionally ignoring facts.

LSU isn’t called NFLU for nothing.

I think he wants to follow in Saban’s footsteps…go win a title at LSU, then go to Bama for the rest of his career.

More stress and less job security. More threat to his life in Baton Rouge. Higher risk of heart disease with the Cajun food.

One thing is for sure. His health takes a major hit

Y'all really don't understand the new era of college football. You don't sit around in living rooms recruiting players anymore.

The same people that praise Cignetti for staying at IU are now crowing that Kiffin needs to go to LSU for a chance at a championship. I’m not sure which way I lean in that argument tbh. It’s pretty clear what LK thought.

You must have not heard. Louisiana has players in the NFL and has the most players per capita in the nfl. Lane would be crazy to not go there and he definitely won't leave if someone else offers. That's a destination.

By this logic... He shouldn't lose a game, ever. Good luck with that.

Bamensa group starting to forget that LSU has three titles under three coaches in last 25 years.

Yeah, he will have more resources at LSU.

But will also have double the expectations.

Nowhere else in the country does he have access to odell Beckham , Justin Jefferson and jamsr chase. LSU is literally the only school that can produce that.
