We’re getting left behind when the SEC and Big 10 split from the NCAA

All of the work Frank did will have been for nothing. I really thought that we would get our shite together at some point in the last 15 years but apparently not. It honestly feels surreal.

F#%k Frank. Everyone knew where this was headed when we joined. We all knew we’d half arse it and end up where we are. I’m done with these losers.

Nix this bullshite hire. Hire Bobby with a fat NIL and a top DC with his own separate NIL.

And some of you dumb fricks thought we could do better. LMFAO.

Nah we will stay because of Basketball and Baseball plus all the other sports we are winning in.

Frank didn’t fire Petrino or hire Bert, Chad, or Sam. He didn’t put us a decade behind in NIL.

We never had a 10 loss season in his life. We’ve had 3 in 8 years now.

Frank made us nationally competitive in 3 other sports besides football. We’re one of the premier baseball programs in the country, and we quite literally didn’t even have a functioning baseball team when he assumed the AD job.

When Frank stepped down as AD, we were a season removed from an SECCG appearance and in a position where we were an attractive enough job to hire the sitting HC of the Atlanta Falcons. Just 12 years later we had to hire a career OL coach who was actively making retirement plans because quite literally no one wanted our job.

We’ve had 2 bad AD’s in succession who’ve made 4 terrible football coaching hires in a row (JLS, Bert, Chad, and Sam).

Frank can be blamed for a lot, but the current state of our football program isn’t one of them.

I’ve never been much of a “we need an Arkansas guy” person, but I’m 100% there now when it comes to hiring an AD. We’ve hired two outsiders in a row who’ve regionalized our program and completely lost connection with boosters and the pulse of our fan base.

I always thought it was weird to be an Arkansas fan and hate Broyles. The man was Arkansas football

JLS doesn't count as a bad coaching hire. He was an interim placed in charge in April. No one else was gonna come in the Spring. He was Petrino's former mentor who built Louisville into something respectable, the ST coach the previous three seasons at Arkansas, and was the only one with current ties who had any HC experience - and some pretty good HC experience, at that. He was likely the best choice on paper to take over for that one year at an awkward time. The truth is 2012 was going to be a lost year after the motorcycle wreck.

To be completely fair to the discussion you can't say the hire of Bielema was a bad hire. He had just come off winning the big ten, now it ended up poorly but the hire itself was a good hire at the time.

Hire Kevin Trainor, more than qualified

I agree. It was a good, safe hire on paper. The mistake was giving him that ridiculous extension after 2014 and then refusing to fire him at the end of 2016.
