Fired from where exactly? I don’t imagine the OM AD would let the outgoing coach fire coaches who wanted to coach in the playoffs.

I’m not sure I believe any of these stories, but if they are true, the easy fix for Ole Miss is take whatever they were prepared to pay Kiffin, and offer it as incentive pay and promotions to the current staff if they make a playoff run.

The reality: Kiffin probably told the coaches if you’re not on the plane there’s no place for you on my staff at LSU which is not unreasonable.
