If he can recruit and hire a good OC who knows? I’ll support him but I hope we don’t give him a stupid contract.

Fair answer. I wonder what type of offense he'll want to run.

5-7 but more than likely 3-9. Yay! More losing seasons

But we should be more worried about the floor.

I would think that if it were Durkin, we would pay him 4-4.5 per year at most. That would free up some money to get some of the best coordinators in the game.
That being said, I don’t think it’s Durkin.

I’m told on this board that we will do “market rate.”

We always give away stupid amounts of money.

We’re gonna need to get the Costco jumbo sized 5-gallon bucket of this stuff to sufficiently polish this turd if we make this HC hire

If Auburn hires Durkin (even if he beats the turds) this coaching search was a complete and embarrassing failure

Here is what will happen if Durkin is hired.

2026 7-6
2027 5-7
2028 fired after 2-4 start.

Rinse and repeat

Well even without the drama, his tenure at Maryland was a disaster. I would rather hire Bob Chesney and call it a day over giving Durkin the job.

I’ll wait and see what this weekend brings, but if we screw this up again, Cohen needs to be exiled from Auburn. There are going to be pitchforks instead of toilet paper at Toomers Corner.

Depends on the coordinators. You can see guys play hard for him and buy into their roles. If he hires Muschamp and Faulkner I could get excited

All this “roster retention” talk, he better win 10 games or he’s on hot seat year 2
