They’re all bad.

We put a dude who went to Ohio Wesleyan & never played a down of organized football, and a lady who’s expertise is that she played women’s college basketball and has been an AD her whole career - on a committee and let them decide who the best football teams are.

It’s like this every year. Half of these people or more have absolutely no business making these decisions.

Yep.
12 biased chuckleheads/active athletic directors with inherent conflicts.
Give me conflict free, intelligent sports minds like Condoleeza Rice and Oliver Luck.

Ranking all the two loss teams is difficult and head to head is the only concrete thing you can do.

Oklahoma
Alabama
Vanderbilt
Michigan
Miami
Notre Dame

That's how I would have them personally.

Notre Dame is clearly getting favoritism.

Miami is not playing for the ACC championship. They have very little argument to be that high unless it’s to make ND look good.

Gee, I’d didn’t realize that Oklahoma played Notre Dame, but they must have because you said head to head is all that matters and you’ve got OU ahead of Notre Dame. I also missed that Miami vs Vanderbilt game; must have been one hell of a matchup.

The CFP Committee has actually boxed Kiffin in. Kiffin is now unable to leave.

Miami beat ND, and beat Florida State, the team that embarrassed Alabama.

That was my point. They’re keeping Miami higher in the rankings to try to keep ND and I guess Bama relevant.

Notre Dame is clearly getting favoritism.

If some on the CFP committee are not otherwise "football" people who see a list of teams and one of them is Notre Dame they are probably going to choose the irish over the rest of those.

I misstated that. He definitely can leave but it likely won’t be legally clean.
