Midzou fan David Carnell had a bad weekend

He went 0-10 on his "goals" for his team:
1. Get a W in Norman
2. Turn Mateer over 2x
3. One of those T.O.s go for a TD
4. Get 5 sacks
5. Amass 120-150 total rush yds
6. Get Coleman 10 catches
7. Make OU kick FG instead of scoring TDs
8. Keep Pribula/ Zollers upright
9. Have Fun!
10. Make us proud!

I will say this: Missouri's got a scrappy team. Good players, very good defense. The fact Pribula played 5 weeks after dislocating an ankle was impressive.
That zone rushing scheme is very well-designed... it took us a few series to figure that stuff out. Hardy's a great type of back for that scheme.
Mizzou had far & away the best uni's on the field.
but for real, those road whites with the white helmets are really nice looking.

Mateer might not be as advertised but sucks is a bit harsh. He will be the starting QB for a playoff team.

Well, for 4 out of the last 5 years most SEC teams hold that scheme to the teens or twenties for the final point total in a game. To win last year we needed a defensive touchdown. It is what it is, we do what we do, and all of that.
Good luck the rest of the way. It was a solid win for Oklahoma.

Venables said the first couple of series he was just trying to see how few guys he could get away with having in the box.

Yeah, he only threw 2 TD passes against your awesome defense.
And rushed for more yards than your Heisman candidate.
Zero INTs. Zero fumbles.
Other than that, he still sucks.

All OU’s win proved & reinforced is they have a good defense & a shite offense. You gotta have both to go far. OU is toast against good CFP teams. That’s not disrespecting them, just a fact. So is Mizzou’s but that is on the O-line. The offense has given away game after game when the D played to win.

We will see. I watched the game in its entirety. D was as good as A&M, offense was below average.

That's pretty much what happens when a good D is on the field after their putrid offense (and OC) can't do shite. Pretty much what happened against A&M. All starts with the failures on the O-line. Mizzou has all of the pieces to be a great offense, besides the O-line which has proven to be bad. Not sure how they regressed to this point, but shite happens throughout a CF season.
