Careful, facts like these will get you called a troll as other “more informed posters” will say he’s not close to benchable play or even he’s playing well. They may even use a 5.5 game sample size to do so.

This board has many people that “can’t handle the truth.” (Although we do have too many trolls, but legitimate posters are making fact based statements and people are freaking out.)

To be fair he could have had 6 tds yesterday. But yeah td production has been really bad in general since like the Missouri game.

Maybe. He could have had 3 picks yesterday and there’s no guarantee that if they threw it more trying to get him TDs that he wouldn’t have had more picks.

The second interception came on a Hail Mary pass to the end zone trying to steal points with no time remaining in the first half.
The first pick wasn't horribly thrown, the DB just made a great play.

It wasn't a DB, it was a LB and the ball was thrown right at him.

They also dropped an easy INT which was right at another LB

I don’t know what that guy is talking about, it was a terrible throw. There’s no way Ryan Williams was going to catch that.

The announcers commented that it was just a great play by the defensive player.

I mean he sort of had to jump but it was right at him. But the throw wasn't making it to Williams.

Ty had been really inaccurate for a few weeks now. Leaving a ton of points on the field

Ty has a ton of talent and has played lights out at times this season. But man has he gotten in his own head. I wonder if all the Heisman talk got to him. If he snaps out if it then yall should beat AU by at least 2 scores. If not....well at least Bama is bowl eligible.

Almost perfect. Only thing you’re missing is said posters opining on the obviousness that none of us other posters ever played football at their level.

The issue is that many college football fans are tribal.

By that I mean their sense of self is wrapped up in being a Bama/AU/whatever fan so when you criticize a player or the team they respond like it’s a personal attack.

It’s the same thing in modern politics but I won’t go there.

Bottom line you can’t have an objective debate with someone that personally identified with the subject being critiqued because they lack the objectivity and distance from it to be honest about things.

But it is interesting to see how people respond to the stats on this issue. Everyone wanted Jam benched for lack of productivity but even last year when I was calling for Milroe to be benched no one wanted to hear it until way late in the season.

I think it’s a QB thing.

At first I thought the purpose of the emphasis on the run game was only to correct its obvious deficiencies, but on hindsight it could just as well to have been to avoid Ty's incompetence lately.

Also not enough name calling in there. You've got to make it personal, attack the person not their post. So the poster needs to add "idiots, morons, dumbasses with a side of you need counseling" to the post for proper rebuttal.
