If Ty needs to be benched to win the Auburn game will DeBoer do it?

Do yall think he has the nads?

Don’t think so, but if it comes to that then I hope he would bench anyone

I think the 4th “Ty sucks play Russell” thread will be the one that finally nails it.

If Milroe didn’t get benched against OU last year after that embarrassing display, Ty won’t get benched against AU.

Isnt it odd how the fans just know that if we were just playing the 18 year old 3rd string QB...skipping the very talented 2nd string QB entirely, wed be winning all the games.

This isnt about the other QBs this is about DeBoer sitting ty if he needs to be sat

I for one love the posts asking if Ty is even a first rounder anymore when his OU tape got lauded for the pre-snap adjustments and being an example of a real chess match at the college level

No, but if Ty doesn’t have it, you have to make the change at least for a couple of series. Sometimes it gives a spark (backup may have a “nothing to lose” mentality at that point and play loose) and defenses rarely are prepared for a different QB with different tendencies or skill sets. Even if the backup isn’t consistently better, sometimes it makes sense to take a chance.

This board has become borderline unreadable. I don't know if it's actual Bama fans who are ate up with Chicken Little Syndrome (Lord knows there are plenty of those out there) or if it's rival fans pretending to be Bama fans trolling to stir things up, but this place has become almost as unhinged as the Tiger Rant. And that's shameful.

Unless Ty gets injured or has an all-timer loss of composure, that man is playing the full 60.

Why do you keep coming up with dumb posts like this?

Get outside and touch some grass, man.
We won 56-0 yesterday.
Enjoy your Sunday.

You thought Ty played well yesterday? When’s the last game you thought Ty played really well (or won us a game despite others struggling)?
Has Ty even won us a single game where the defense played poorly this year? Because I’ll list the SEC playoff contender teams that had their QB win them a game where the defense played poorly:
UGA
Ole Miss
A&M
Vandy
The only ones that haven’t had their QB win them a game despite defense playing poorly are Bama and OU. Taking it one step further, Bama is the only SEC playoff contender to lose a game where their defense gave up less than 20 points…THE ONLY ONE.
I haven’t said very many negative things about Ty at all this season, but people trying to say he’s fine or there’s nothing to criticize are either being intentionally obtuse or aren’t paying attention.

I think we all agree that Ty didn't play well but do we even win a game this season if not for him? Because I doubt we can win a game running the ball.

Other QBs can throw the ball.
Changing our RB gets the same result.
We dont know if changing the QB will

So you suggest, on the road against our in-state rival with an SECCG berth and playoff bid on the line, that we should bench our 11-game starter for either a 3rd year guy who has never started or a true freshman?

Haha. Autocorrect doesn’t respect AU.
