Honest question
In your opinion, do you view this as a good thing or bad thing?
Good: Fan loyalty and support
Bad: Supporting mediocrity, regardless of the perceived "ceiling" as a program

It’s incredible. I think South Carolina has an awesome football culture and think about what that means for the players. Too much of our society is just bitching and not showing up when you should.

I think it’s awesome
If you’re gonna be a fan, be a fan. Be a fanatic. Good times or bad be a fan.
I personally respect that

It is admirable and bad at the same time

Both

They need the right coach hire

Our fans are the reason we will never succeed. The school has no reason to improve when fans will come out for this garbage

I’m hoping the new AD will make the right choice to at least make us competitive again. I know we’ve been competitive in a lot of our games, but coaching decisions have cost us way too often.
I obviously don’t expect to compete with the elites of the conference, but we’re better than what we have.
Well said by all btw. Both is a good answer, but I do agree mostly with Jack Travern about what it means to the players.

Auburn had a sell out today without a HC

I also can’t disagree with this though. If we put the money in regardless of the result, why make a change? It’s an obvious answer to us as fans, imagine how much better it would be with a better product? But why change if you don’t have a reason to

I’ve always thought Auburn has a great fanbase too. Props.

The stadium is always overflowing for the cocks, no matter how flaccid they are.

Depends. Are you actively trying to get rid of your coach? Because sometimes you’ve gotta not show up to get the point across (see Joker vs Vandy).

I do think there are other ways to protest, given the online world we live in these days
But that's 100% the best way to do it, and our fans never do it.

Florida fans sold out The Swamp tonight. And I can't for the life of me figure why? Stop supporting these pieces of fecal matter running our football program into the ground. Stricklin, if all the reports are accurate is going to leave the team with a 4th or 5th choice head coach. Another slapdick Sunbelt type loser.

It’s a good thing. You guys are loyal. Good stadium and atmosphere. You have enough money for NIL. You’re in a great area for recruiting. You’re the flagship school of the state with a big alumni base
The only thing you need outside of coaching is you need Clemson to take a nose dive. It seemed impossible just a few years ago, but it’s moving in that direction. Dabo is growing stale and they aren’t winning. Clemson hasn’t embraced NIL and they’ll never be recruiting with the elite big dogs again. The ACC is a dumpster fire and NIL will give schools like Virginia, UNC and Georgia Tech a way to move up in the world. Plus i wouldn’t be too sure that Clemson has a seat at the SEC/B1G table when the ACC blows up.
South Carolina could take a big step up going forward. Just need a better coach and to pump enough money into NIL

Gamecock fans are awesome.
If that program can ever find the right guy to turn the corner, I can’t think of many fanbases I would be happier for to enjoy some good times.
Brings up an interesting question though: When’s the last time a half-empty stadium for a period of a season ….or several seasons compelled a program into high level winning?

Bruh get out of here with that weak minded shite. A program like LSU with the right coach can and should most definitely compete with the elites of the conference.
