Bama looks pedestrian this year

I'm not so sure they're even the 3rd best team in the league this year... And yet, they still control their own destiny. They're an Auburn game win away from an SEC title shot
Tide fans, take the crimson sunglasses off and tell me honestly what you believe the ceiling is for this squad.

The new format is stupid. We should go back to the BCS where Alabama and any other team with losses and multiple losses isn't even in the discussion.
But to answer your question, this team could win it all. While some of you may be downgrading Alabama over the Oklahoma loss, I personally upgraded them. Aside from the costly turnovers and the missed FG, we played pretty well. We moved the ball much better against the Oklahoma defense than I thought we would, and in reality our defense held Oklahoma to only 1 semi-successful drive(resulted in a FG) the entire game outside the ones where we gave them the ball on their side of the field.
You may say Oklahoma didn't need a bunch of yards to win, and that's true due to Alabama mistakes. But on the 6 or 7 drives when they needed to drive the field, they couldn't.
If we played Oklahoma again next week, I'd be even more confident in us to win than I was last weekend.
Special teams is lacking is our biggest weakness. It's not just a down week.

It's not my fault if the depth of your football understanding is the scoreboard.
Congrats on your win.

It's the only matrix that matters

You can’t be serious with this? It’s literally all that matters.

Matt Leinart, is that you?

Until you beat Georgia, Missouri and LSU then STFU
Now, to answer your question,
1. Best scenario but not likely win Natty.
2. Worst scenario, lose to you again in playoffs while playing at your place. Lose by having double the yardage and having 3 costly turnovers and special teams sucking arse.
3. OU winning Natty and having to listen to you tell everyone how great you are and how you beat Bama again.

The ceiling is natty or bust.

They play ugly sloppy football sometimes but when they’re good they’re good and can play with anybody.

In a 12 team playoff, maybe 8 or so teams who get a spot are going to be pretty pedestrian.

It really began on Young’s last season mostly because of the offensive line play. The following two seasons we were plagued with a running back playing Quarterback with zero ability to read and adjust what the defense was doing. Just being honest about what I observed. It has been very disappointing to watch.

This is all pretty much spot on. If we played OU again this week, we’d be favored by more than we were last week. It was an oddly one-sided game, which made it that much more of a kick in the dick when we lost.
To answer the OP, we are good enough to win it all. We’re also bad enough to get blown out by Auburn and finish the season 9-4.

And no one knows how to lose like Jerry Jones.

They scheduled Oklahoma for homecoming. They should have scheduled Georgia.

I'd love to see a breakdown of those yards per half lol...most of Bama's yards came in the first half. They were mostly shut down in the second half. To their credit, the Tide shut down our offense the whole game. But OU's offense is not on the caliber of Bama's
