Are there any Utrans fans that still believe you beat Oklahoma if Mateer isn’t hurt?

Has that truth sunk in yet?

You really should be staring at 6-6 or 7-5

Instead of where you are 7-5 or 8-4

Are there any A&M fans who will acknowledge they’re overrated and haven’t played an SEC team with a winning record in conference?

LSU fans certainly understand what being vastly overrated is like.

Mateer was throwing perfect spirals to Texas defenders. That thumb seemed fine

When you hand everyone an L

Their record reflects that

That’s how football works

Missouri would be 4-2 if we hadn’t spanked their arse in Colombia.

OU had more problems that day than just Mateer that day.

We made Arch look like a decent QB and our defense looked like they were chasing a greased pig when Wisner was carrying the ball.

6 SEC teams were ranked above A&M at the start of the season. #1 tu, #8 Alabama, #9 LSU, #13 South Carolina, #15 Florida and #18 Oklahoma.

A&M has played and beaten three of them, as well as a Notre Dame on the road, also ranked above us at #6 in the preseason poll, bringing our total to having beaten 4 teams ranked above us in the Top 25.

But we’ve played “nobody.”

Yep. Texas got lucky.

For the second time in four games against OU, our starting QB couldn't really play due to injury.

He's still not back to his old self. Just compare the before injury to post injury games. We've lost A LOT or offensive production and still finding ways to win.

Not really.

They only scored 16 points on offense. And that was with us having zero offensive production to combat their's.

Mateer injury aside, tx came to play that day. Often times, the team that wins the RRS is the team that wakes up and wants it more. tx (sadly) seemed like they wanted it more that day.

That happens when your offense does nothing for 4 quarters …. Defense gets worn out fast . It was a one score game with 7 minutes left then they got the ole block in the back punt return td and it was over .

Yes, there's plenty. Mateer played and lost and said he was fine pre and post game.

That's like me saying you should have lost to Auburn, ark, and sc.

Texas won those road games doesn't matter if it was in OT its a W. Just like you best SC doesn't matter you got yourself into a massive hole.

Your special teams and D had nothing to do with Mateer.

And you have a seasoned backup for a reason.

Sorry you couldn't pull a miracle of Caleb Williams bailing you out otherwise you would be 4-1 against Texas the last 5

I agree with part of that, the second part

The proper answer from a Texas fan to this question should absolutely be.

Piss off, we don’t give a crap we won the game.
