The LSU stuff is just to try and get a few more concessions from Florida. Lane is disrespecting Ole Miss though. Ole Miss should sit him for the Miss St game after this.

Assuming it was all performative, then who was it for? Ole Miss knows he is interested in other jobs, hence the ultimatum. LSU and Florida will give him whatever he wants, it’s not like making them play hard to get is going to get them to open the checkbooks. They are already wide arse open.

Lane wants more control at UF than our admin usually gives. That is why they are using LSU to get concessions from Florida.

If ever there was a coach that folks only put up with his antics because he is winning it is Lane Kiffin. He's obviously a very intelligent guy but damn he would wear me out if he was my coach. He is the polar opposite of Elko who would be perfectly happy never talking to a reporter or the media, he's actually very good at it but he hates unnecessary drama and just likes coaching football.
Lane always seems about half a step away from a complete implosion and while at first I thought he would definitely leave I'm less sure now. Ole Miss will put up with whatever he does. He could drop off and have a couple of 8 win seasons and be fine. He goes to UF or LSU it's a different type of pressure and people getting in his business, especially because he has to start over from scratch. He's definitely got a lot of Mike Leach in him. As an outsider he's entertaining as hell and I hate playing him.

It’s all way too public. I hate it and wish he would sign the extension but after visiting Gainesville and Baton Rouge on back to back days while Lane himself was in Oxford tweeting pro Ole Miss stuff it for sure was Sexton bullshite tactics.
I don’t have many reliable sources but I have heard Sexton and Lane pissed off more than just Ole Miss yesterday
