Barring some truly remarkable performance, it will be Mendoza, Sayin, and Reed in New York

Probably Mendoza wins it, but I don't have as good of a feel for who might win it this year. Nobody is running away with it. All three of those guys deserve to be there, but I am not sure they deserve to be there more than Stockton or Pavia.

The only way Reed has a shot is to throw for 600 against little brother Utrans
So it’s not impossible but also not probable

Well, it's a beauty pageant so it doesn't really mean what it once meant.

I wouldn't trade Stockton for any of those 3.

I don't blame you. Dude is really good.

We’ll see how it shakes out.
If A&M plays well, Reed will probably rest at the end of the Samford game.
But to date: the stats are as follows
Mendoza
2,641 pass 30 5
216 rush 5
2,857 total 35 5
Reed
2,632 pass 22 8
391 rush 6
3,023 total 28 8
Sayin
2,675 pass 25 4
20 rush
2,695 total 25 4

But it’s not all about stats
He needs a huge performance against a big (although bottom of the SEC) team and that’s Utrans

Agree, but even with a huge performance with a primetime audience, the stats should be similar.
Indiana has played one more game. But they finish with Purdue, who is terrible.
Mendoza should have another 350 yards and 4 tds.
Marcel will bridge the gap with another game (2-3 quarters?)
Then Marcel would probably need to do something like 350 and 4 in primetime

Mendoza seems to be the huge favorite, but it is interesting that Stockton isn’t getting more discussion in this. I think a lot of people just assume he’s an under-talented game manager when that isn’t really true (just like they did with Bennett until late in 2022).

Sayin, good numbers, terrible schedule.

They invite the top 4 vote getters.

The Heisman would be the only reason the SECCG should matter to us

I remember Nebraska had played no one in ‘95 and They got paired up with the gators that year and beat the ever living Schitt out of Florida by 40. Sometimes the easy schedule don’t mean shite. OSU lost to 8-5 Michigan last year. Teams get hot at the right time and it doesn’t matter

They have to invite Hardy up there if he has a decent game against Oklahoma. Leads the nation in rushing yards, YPC and scored 15 TDs on less than 200 carries through 10 games. 2 more to go and you know he's going to light up the Arkansas D.

Latest odds. Definitely some breakaway candidates emerging.

Guess everyone should learn their lesson and only play weak AF schedules then.

This is getting stale.
Going into the season, the Aggies were scheduled to go on the road to face #6 Notre Dame, play #1 Texas in Austin, #9 LSU in Death Valley, #13 South Carolina, and #15 Florida.
They also went on the road to Arkansas and Mizzou. A&M shouldn’t be punished bc half the conference preseason favorites shite the bed.
Texas A&M has played in the SEC West for the past 12 years (while Mizzou drew the long straw and played in the SEC East), against historically good LSU and Alabama teams, year after year. This narrative that A&M got away with some orchestrated avoidance is so lame.

Actually I took it to mean Indiana and Ohio State played weak AF schedules.

Reed honestly has no chance, but there does have to be a third
