This was off their Reddit page. What a melt.

That being said, Kirby Smart needs to be reeled in somehow for his behavior. I've never seen a head coach be such a pansy on the sidelines with the referees, throwing his headset around like a maniac, so much so to the point where hes given a free challenge without repercussion. The player was clearly short on 3rd down, he is having a tantrum on the sideline, and then we suddenly get a booth review? A commercial break? His offense gets to rest up while he gets to draw up a 4th down play, and the booth comes back saying "Obviously not a first down" then fakes the punt unit coming out while his offense is at the line ready to run run fake pass?? How is that legal, is that just how lazy the college football officiating is? Then we get another 4th down over top of the quarter end, leading to even more time taking breaks?  Otherwise, tell me how you are supposed to play defense for 9+ plays in a row where the UGA offense is constantly bending the rules in their favor, and stopping the clock whenever they feel like they can?

While at the same time, the onside kick was pure Madden level disrespect. The real insult is watching that replay of Kirby Smart running up and down the sidelines clearly saying "motherfrickers" like he knows he just gamed the whole system in his favor, then capped it off with some a-hole move like an onside kick while up 2 scores.

I'm almost positive Sarks back was turned , planning the next offensive series, when it happened and that couldn't be more proof that we need an OC. Shouldn't be checked out at that level ever again. I dont care if its a surprise and I don't care if the honor system says it shouldn't happen, we should be prepared in all phases of the game and that includes HC participation in special teams. Someone give me the stat for TOP in the second half because it has to be the most lopsided this season.

We got the one "good" ref crew in the SEC. Bitching about refs in this game is just dumb, considering what we've seen in other games. This is about the most "normal" referee'd game I've seen this year.

Also, that Texas fan should know, the refs on the field Kirby is yelling at aren't the ones initiating reviews, that's done from the SEC Office which Kirby can't yell at or influence in-game.

Griping about the refs is universal, but the above quote is baffling.

Those refs picked up an obvious PI penalty, it wasnt even close and he interfered on two separate occasions.

Otherwise, most Texans I know are hot headed morons with delusions of grandeur.

There was a mod on another site who talked about every perceived pro-UGA call in his writeup of the game. Don't think he noticed any of the infractions they missed against Texas. Like the one on their sole touchdown of the game. Manning should've thrown the pass to his right guard; he was wide open on the 2 yard line. It's at the 11: 14 mark if the video doesn't start there.

Does a good job breaking down why texas has so many holding penalties... due to their o-line blocking scheme. Begins at the 17 min 43 sec mark.

I do wonder how other coaches view CKS’s coaching on things like running the punt team off and on and working the refs. I’m sure there a bunch of things coaches could do…like Bielema slow walking guys out against SCe and burning up the play clock…that they just don’t do as it could be seen as a dick move.

The onsides kick is total fair game though based on what TX was doing and we’ve seen that happen in other games. Plus their special teams coach was kind of an arse.

CKS and Sark are friends though so I assume that’s not an issue.

Perhaps we should have had our fans trash our own field to get a review and play overturned I guess?

I get it, but most college teams' reddit pages are a good read without the typical left wing garbage that populates most of that site.

Desmond Howard IG story this morning was hinting that Sark & Texas may "voluntarily" part ways.

Crazy Days & Nights was saying before last season that Sark's appetite for dark meat was catching up to him.

It was an 11 point game with about 9 minutes left. Seemed like a pretty good thing. I know it caught me off guard...and obviously Texas, too.

ETA
Correction. There was more than 14 minutes left in the 4th quarter when we did the onside kick with an 11 point lead, so it was definitely a reasonable call.

This Texas poster sounds like a guy that has never played the game and knows very little about the game of college football.
Perhaps he thinks college football should be played and conducted like golf or tennis.
Be sure and let the opposing coach you are going to try an onside kick.
