Hardy entered the portal 2 weeks before Lacy did. Mizzou wanted him before Lacy left. Hardy committed 2 days after Lacy entered the portal.

Look at the timeline.
Hardy entered the portal on 12/3. Hardy visits Ole Miss on 12/13.
Lacy entered the portal on 12/16. Lacy commits to Ole Miss on 12/16.
Hardy visits Mizzou on 12/17 and committed on 12/18.
Hardy cancels Kentucky visit scheduled for 12/19.

Mississippi State had one job - stop Hardy. We've got the 3rd string QB throwing out of bounds or grounding the ball on almost every throw and these fools let Hardy loose for 301 yards. Hey Miss State, STFU or Hardy's gonna score another touchdown was a real vibe last night.
