Which fanbase is most disappointed this season?

Can’t be Florida or Arkansas, the majority of both those fanbases were wanting to tank this season so their coaches got fired. They got what they wanted. So, the options are:

A: South Carolina fans were expecting to build on last year’s success. They were talking about Seller’s Heisman campaign. Instead they are sitting at 3-6. Now…

B: Auburn fans expected a winning season. They were a dark horse playoff pick. After the Baylor game Auburn fans were singing the praises of Jackson Arnold. And Alabama lost to FSU!!! After week 1 they were convinced this was their year. Now..,

C: LSU fans cleared out space in the trophy case over the summer for Nuss’ Heisman. Then they bought playoff tickets after the Clemson win. And Alabama lost to FSU!!! After week 1 they were convinced this was their year. Now…

How do you rank SEC fanbases on the scale of misery?

Its has to be LSU number one. They talked all offseason and now have no head coach, no qb, and will end up with an underwhelming next hire

Auburn could still win the iron bowl and they will forget about their terrible season

We know that place held a lot of sentimental value for you and your boyfriend. But we are talking about fanbases as a whole, not your a hole.

Always, it’s “L”3U!
Nobody has such false bravado during the summer and first weeks of the season. No one melts better come Oct-Nov.

Yeah, with SC a distant second. LSU was ranked #3 and getting first place votes for the first few weeks of the season.

And I'd put Tennessee up near or above SC, gotta be a pretty big let down after the cupcake buffet to start the season.

If whole season from the beginning - we were breaking in a new QB so we didn’t know what to expect.

In season- very disappointing now that we are down to the 3rd string QB, and our OC has shown his arse to everyone again this year.

"We're from Louisiana! We get emotional about our teams!"

Their ready made excuses after they've talked shite beforehand.

We are still doing better than what Vegas and most people predicted, we lost our whole offense from last year and replaced it with a qb who had 4 weeks to prepare, and we lost our starting DBs the first game one of which will be a first round pick. We havent been great this year but also we have been ranked every single week. If Tennessee can finish the year out 9-3 it will objectively be a good year compared to what was predicted. However i dont see that happening

Hmm USCe thought last year meant this year would be better when last year was the year they were really seeking.

I don't blame Auburn really for thinking they'd get a winning season but like it was for LSU, week 1 was fools' gold.

Now LSU really thought they had a special season after that Clemson win. I figured Clemson should have at least been a top 15 team even if things went bad for them but this is easily Dabo's worst season and looks as bad as any season Bowden had there. And for the first few weeks LSU would not have any of this "your win looks worse and worse".

Gotta go with LSU here.

Look for Auburn to go through another 5-10 years of futility then get a Josh Heupel type hire and worship their 8-4/9-3 coach as a savior

Some LSU fans are too delusional to be disappointed about anything.

Ill be the first to admit I thought LSU was going to be good this year. Had us as a sure playoff team. That said, Brian Kelly had made the team so miserable and not fun to watch that by the time the A&M game happened I was already numb. If anything I feel better about being an LSU fan today than I did 8/30. The sun is shining in Baton Rouge.

I think it’s cute when they play a pathetic non- conference schedule and pound their chest thinking they matter only to get B-slapped back to reality

LSU for sure, went all in this year and flamed out.

At least the coaching search will add some entertainment value.

TBH, this is Auburn pretty much every year. The end of the season Iron Bowl is always their potential redemption.
