Alabama basketball got a chance for another big win this upcoming week

#1 Purdue is coming to Tuscaloosa on Thursday. If they win that game, they might move up to #1. They have a chance to be the only school with top 5 teams in both football and basketball. SEC basketball is gonna be fun again this season. Sucks Arky couldn't pull that off last night, but that is a tough environment to win in and they barely just came up short.

Just hope Coleman is packed and loud. Purdue embarrassed us up there last year - time to return the favor.

Indeed. If the guards get going, they might just get that revenge. St. John's had no clue how to stop them. If it weren't for them shooting 40 free throws, Alabama blows them out on their home court. That's the only reason they hung around.

Oats is definitely not scared to play anybody, anywhere, anytime. It's exciting for the fans as it's big game after big game. And his record is pretty darn good too.

A&M is a road favorite at Oklahoma State today. OSU is lead by LSU transfer Vyctorius Miller. I'm still pissed that McMahon ran him off, I think he's going to be a nice scoring guard for OSU.

Is that game on tv? McMahon has done a lot of terrible things for LSU. Maybe a real AD is finally going to axe him like he should have been last season. No reason for LSU to be at the bottom of the SEC like they've been. They're basically missing out on being part of this historic SEC run.

LSU looks like it might be a little better this season, but not enough to make a difference in this conference.

I remember Purdue playing at Bama when I was in school, 2010 I think, and damn near half the crowd was Purdue fans, and they were loud. Those frickers really travel well. Very passionate.

Should be a hell of a game. Looking forward to watching it this week. We beat Purdue already in our exhibition matchup, so I've seen them, but I haven't gotten a chance yet to see this Alabama team to see what our competition looks like this year. Should be fun.
