I think Nuss is a competitor and the situation with the OL this year was a disaster for him and his skill set, but truly never got the elite QB hype this offseason. Hes a very solid college QB when the system and protection is good, but he had some big time flaws that people in media just kind of decided to completely ignore.

Brother, he is absolutely shell shocked. He does not even look downfield anymore. I feel bad for the kid. Kelly and Sloan (with the help of Davis) took what could have been a serviceable college quarterback and absolutely destroyed him.

I highly doubt he sees the field again in 2025. Best wishes to him. Time to move on.

Alabama dude should have let him keep running. He might have scored for Bama.

And that was after a delay of game penalty and a time out to avoid another delay of game.

Nuss will get healthy.
He will get drafted.
With a serviceable NFL OL he will have a career.

The Louisiana State fans base had convinced themselves that because J Daniel’s and Burrell made huge strides in their second seasons that so would Nuss.

To me, he was like a Fitzpatrick, he wasn’t afraid to let it rip even if it was a dumb and dangerous pass, which meant he had a number of INTs.

At least it wasn't a butt fumble.

in real time, I simply shook my head about that sack. His decision to run backwards, rather than stepping up into the pocket, was baffling.

I do like the sound effects you added.

Solid, objective analysis.

There is no place for that here.

AJ McCarron had a better college career but I’m reading career back up in NFL similar to AJ. That said in my opinion back up NFL QB may be the best job in the NFL.

I hope the Saints don't draft him in the First Round.
