Just saw the same on power mizzou Twitter ...

Both Moore and Drink are clowns ...

To think Mizzou spends 11 million on these two ...

If Eli fires Moore tomorrow I’ll be okay giving him one more chance with a legit OC.

People want to crap on Moore but these are the same issues we've had with our offense pre Kirby, during Kirby, and will continue post Kirby. Drink wants his OC to run the offense he designed.

Then Moore should quit out of shame.

While I agree Drinks tendency to be overly conservative on offense is infuriating, this was a true freshman 3rd string QB making his first start. The playbook was going to be simple and predictable.

Zoellers has the talent, but clearly needs development. How he performs next year will make up my mind on Drink. That and a new OC. Moore needs to move on. Make a nice FCS coach somewhere.

Was it though? It seemed the only thing they practiced was hail mary's down the sideline. Zollers never even looked at short routes like you'd expect when expecting pressure.

We need to pump serious money into a great OC who calls all the shots.

They were calling out the running plays, which would have been ran regardless of who was taking snaps. The run game coordination has been highschool level at best after the script is over. The first play of the game was awesome. It was a split outside zone play. The defense flowed to the boundary with the lineman and Harris made a great seal block. Hardy made the cut back for a 40 yd run. They never ran it again. They ran zone to the boundary every first down Hardy was in the game.

The pass play calling was brainless. They made 8 hole shot throws.....at their best cover options. No seams until late in the game when MZ was toast. No slot/TE routes behind the obvious blitzes on third down.

Moore and Gleeson are the worst OC and QB coach combo in the country.

The more likely answer is that Drink had a firm hand on the tiller in 2023 due to the lack of a QB coach. Drink hired a QB coach to work with Moore and the last two years is their game prep and play calling.

Maybe he’s a Mormon?

Pretty sure Kirby is.
