How is A&M beating a mediocre Notre Dame team the best win in CFB?

I don't get the logic. Booger is a retard for suggesting it but the other talking heads are in agreement with him.

There's better wins probably with this example here but with that logic, how is Bama going into Athens and beating Georgia by more and actually leading that game the whole time not a better win than A&M vs ND?

Georgia's win against Ole Miss is even better too.

Because ND is not mediocre. This coming from someone who was a years long skeptic of them. Marcus Freeman has elevated that program.

I would rate Bama over UGA as higher and A&M over ND as being basically a wash with Indiana at Oregon.

A&M over ND is just a little different because it was OOC.

Ok, if they're not mediocre, they are barely above average. And Georgia is a full level better than they are and so is Ole Miss.

the funny thing to me is how the media is treating the A&M/ND game as if both teams won. it's clear to me they view the game as a fluke extra point win by A&M.

The media is pimping the highest ranked SEC team, which is A&M. They won't tell you that ND's defense is bad and their kicking game is probably the worst in all of college football. I watched that entire game and ND didn't impress me at all. They didn't look good and they're not a team I would consider to be good.

A&M fans gets really sensitive if you say ND isn't all that great. They also get sensitive if you point out that they only won because the refs bailed them out by refusing to call one of the more blatant holds of all time.

I don’t think Georgia is a full level better than ND. Maybe on offense

I think they said it's because ND who lost to N Illinois last season whipped our Champion in the playoff.

Honestly, I think A&M is ranked correctly at this point in time. However, if they finish out without a loss they should then be ranked at the top of the CFP in the final rankings. They have to finish out on the road against Mizz, Texas, and the SECCG in that scenario. And A&M put a whipping on LSU in Death Valley at night, and won on the road at ND. The same could be said for Alabama or UGA as well if they finish strong

Way more difficult than anything tOSU or Indiana will see in the B1G.

This thread is not even bait. Notre Dame has only played 2 decent teams and lost both.

I’m guessing if you asked Booger, he would think you are a retard. See how that works? Your opinion is just as valid as his.

What’s your argument? Georgia is rated higher than ND

ND offense is better than Georgia. That’s not even a controversial statement. Just because you weren’t impressed doesn’t mean much, when every SEC team would give up their season high rushing total if they played ND.

ND defense was their issue. But how good is Georgia’s defense really?
Their pass defense looks about as bad as ND.
