Florida is quickly becoming Auburn with the way they fire coaches and their absurd demands. I wouldn’t want to go there either.

Is Andrew Spivey actually plugged in, or is this another "throw shite at wall" situation? Because the Florida fans will revolt at Drink

I hope Drink stays at Mizzou but why do other teams not want him? He is a hell of a coach.

They will revolt at anyone who isn’t Kiffin at this point

Kiffin would only leave for Alabama or maybe another current high-level Blueblood.

Not as bad as LSU. At least UF is firing coaches that don’t produce. LSU fired Miles after a national title and consistent seasons as a contender, fired Orgeron 2 years after a national title, and fired Kelly after a trip to the conference title game and consistently a contender. I’m pretty sure they are going to have to settle for only a decent coach.

Florida fired Mullen and McElwain less than 2 calendar years after they made it to Atlanta

Eli Drinkwitz is 1-9 against AP top ten teams.

He and his reputation benefited greatly from Mizzou playing in the SEC East.

If you're a coach wanting that job, you are expecting to go there and compete for national championships. You know going in you won't last long if you're going .500 so what would happen if you fail shouldn't play into your decision. The short leash is part of the tradeoff with getting a head coaching job at a program thats tailor made to win conference and national championships.

The Kiffin to Florida/LSU talk was always nonsense. Ole Miss is going to make the CFP. Kiffin is not leaving when he has the CFP to prepare for. Additionally, there’s no way that LSU and Florida refuse to hire a coach until Ole Miss’ season ends, which will be in late December or early January.

You're right that he's not leaving mid season but I'm not sure why that matters.

If someone poaches him he's going to finish the season either way.

Can you elaborate on this? Should Billy not have been fired in year 4 while under .500?

They shouldn’t have fired Mcelwain to be honest. Just because he wasn’t the type to say hello to the softball coach in passing. They made Mullen so miserable that he got lazy and said screw em. That’s what other coaches are looking at and why they’re saying hell no to that job.

It literally isn't feasible. People are trying to tell you but you don't want to listen.
