Is Scott Woodward the dumbest person in college athletics? He's now responsible for $132 million in college football head coach buyouts for just two people!

Sumbitch must be pretty smart if you ask me.
How is he not on food stamps?

Ross Bjork tried to give Mark Stoops $9 million a year to leave Kentucky for A&M and he (thankfully) didn't even have full board approval to do it.

Yes. But there are some who think he's a great AD because he made 2 hires in non revenue sports (one which the LSU name sells itself) with very low competition. He's destroyed 2 football programs and a basketball program. Dude sucks at his job.

Well, he didn’t hire Hermann. We know who did.

You realize Woodward didn't negotiate Jimbo's extension at A&M, right?

College athletics plays with monopoly money. It's ridiculous

Bjork claims otherwise. Says he was locked in because of pre existing contract.

I think he is in the running for the title.
If LSU really wants to clean house and regroup in the right way, then the next order of business should be to can his butt.

Giving him credit for that is ridiculous. He didn't do shite setting Ohio State up up for last year's run.

He'll be gone when LSU gets a new president.

I really hope you are right, but he is pretty well connected within the old boy network and some of them are trying to save him.

As I understand it, he and Landry are on different sides of the political aisle.

This is what the news says so I’m crediting it to Woodward.

Of course he does to try and save face. Lol
There was no automatic extension language in the original contract.
