Because that guy isn’t doing well.

Upvote if you think it’s Moore.
Downvote if you think it’s someone else.

In his first season with play calling duties, Fresno State was once again the top offense in the Mountain West as the Bulldogs led the league in scoring offense (30.57 points per game), total offensive yards (5,639), total offense (402.79 yards per game), total offensive average per play (6.01), total offensive touchdowns (50), pass completion percentage (71.04), pass completions (336), and passing yards (3,788).

Pretty clear that Moore is just a figurehead ...

Stats above are from his 2023 season as Fresno OC ...

Fresno State was not playing SEC schools. Mizzou O looked good vs non P4 schools this year.

When we ran a jet sweep on 3rd and pretty short in the first quarter, I heated up more water for my hotty toddies. (Which was a pretty good choice, both in the decision to make Hotty toddies and in heating up more water.)

The combination of Moore and Gleeson has not produced. Schiano fired Gleeson as the OC at Rutgers half way through the 2022 season because the offense was terrible. He was hired in 2024 and has sat beside Moore in the booth the last two seasons. The play calling and QB play has been shite since his arrival.

Every time I see lateral throws that go nowhere.

I did notice we ran the bootleg right, TE pass and Harris actually picked up 5 yards after the catch.

Zollers looked good running PA.

Shame our run vanilla run game scheme didn’t allow him to really wrk it hard.

That nightmare of predictability had been successfully suppressed a few years back. Thanks for undoing all that work.
