7-1

Hotty Toddy

I would have loved for them to have taken down Alabama but maybe now they will come in as a defeated team.

I'll take any cheat codes.

All 3 SEC games will be a challenge. To me it’s on the defense at this point. The offense has found a way to be quite reliable and Da’Quon Wright is a huge asset. Met a guy tonight who played ball at Georgia St and he said he went to HS with Da’Quon and that the family overall is super athletic. Older bro had a promising career but some kind of injury. Da’Quon played basketball which explains the great hands.

Umanmielen had 3 sacks today and half to 75% of a safety. Dude went off. That’s why their LT was holding every play.

They were warriors but had some big drops in some games. Doug against Arkansas in 01 and Evan against auburn 14 come to mind

I’m so glad we’re putting him in the backfield a lot this season. Last season we were splitting him out wide. He’s lethal on the crossing route.

Winston Watkins really breaking out.

Was that Bruckler performance a one-off or does he earn more targets? His catch was very nearly not a catch / if anyone noticed he fell to the ground coming off the snap then made a quick recovery. That forced fumble was absolutely clutch.

Last year we would have had Watkins playing RB instead of Bentley

Carolina's Dline is a wrecking crew. The Bama Oline has struggled run blocking this season but they've been very good in pass pro. Simpson was under duress most of the night. On offense it's all about keeping Sellers in the pocket. He was far from healthy when we played in Columbia last season and that made life for our D much easier. He looked 100% yesterday and he's going to be a problem.

We need a big loud rowdy crowd. This will be my first game to go to this year. (Weird)

I'll be screaming until the clock hits 0.

The Gamecock Oline has given up the second most sacks in the SEC. That stat combined with Sellers' speed and athleticism tells me we should be able to get into their backfield consistently rushing 4 or 5. A team with the amount of NFL players on its roster like Carolina standing at 1-5 really shows the depth of our conference. You could flip that to 5-1 if they played in the ACC.

No doubt I'll be walking in out of the house the entire game, wringing my hands and muttering to myself. The last minute yesterday I thought I was going to have a panic attack. Wtf, is wrong with me?

^^^ Nothing or maybe plenty, but it’s just who we are apparently. I bought one of those fancy watches that measures heart rate from the wrist a couple years ago. I was sitting in a chair recently during an OM game and my heart rate was 135.

I yelled “suck my dick bitch” as loud as I could when we got that safety yesterday. Pretty sure my neighbors heard me and are now terrified of me oh well. It just means more!
