Tough road win though
Arkansas is 2-5 with an interim coach who fired multiple assistants and also carries the worst defense in the league.
They turned the ball over three times in the fourth quarter and we only managed field goals despite excellent field position.
It was a win on the road but it certainly wasn’t a “tough road win.”

So it was easy?

I think the point is that it was harder than it should have been.

If you’d told me last night ST would have a TD an 6 FG today I would have called you a liar and told you to FO.

“Tough road win” in the context of the original comment is an allusion to teams overcoming adversity due to a quality opponent making the game more challenging than expected. It’s not just a simple adjective to describe the win. “Tough road win” is a football term.
I hope you’re being obtuse for the fun of it.

Don’t forget the 50 yard KO return Pleasant had. He did it all today.

LSU going to be in the market too, the longer we wait the tougher it's going to be.

After that Hew and Cohen man hug at the 50 yard line today after the game he ain’t going nowhere anytime soon.
Hope I’m wrong.

No, it was gift-wrapped.

ONE fricking TD against that defense. Prior to the QB change btw. The dumb hick didn't "fix" anything.

Freeze's offense was on life support against a very weak hog team.

Question is will reporters point this out and ask HF a direct question to explain how he has done anything to fix offense. I hate the tip toeing at the press conferences

Between keeping Gus too long, Harsin, and Freeze, it is obvious this AD sucks.
Not only are rivals boat racing the program but Vandy and GT are cruising to the playoffs and Auburn seems okay with never going.

Hell if you told me yesterday that we would win at all

John Cohen was hired in 2022, so he wasn't even around for Gus and Freeze was his first order of business. He was hired the same day Harsin was fired.
