Would be interesting for Florida to steal a coach from their lesser rivals. But I’m not sure Heupel is the improvement in coaching they want.

Nearly every name mentioned in the Florida search would be a disappointment to me. This is one of the few that wouldn’t. The guy lost his QB before the season and has done alright.
It sure beats some coordinator/G6 lottery ticket. I just don’t see it happening.

Maybe? But it is more of a case where most of the alternatives worry me even more. They really need this hire to not suck. It seems a critical time in the sport and for the program. Can’t really afford another unprepared coach struggling for .500.
