Let’s say they lose to OU this weekend and win out

10-2

Only 1 ranked win (LSU) which is looking worse every day

Do they get at AT LARGE BID?

Are they playing in the SEC CG in your scenario?

I would say yes because Kiffin gives them some clout over a lot of other teams.

I don’t think they can make ATL with 2 CONF Loss

Especially since those losses are against other teams they are competing with to get there

(Tie breakers)

The question is how many SEC teams finish with two losses.

This is the year that SEC gets at least four.

Bama
Georgia
A&M
Ole Miss

The question is will we get a 5th?

Missouri or Tenner or OU or Vandy

The ACC and Big 12 are one team bids right now.

There are some bad scenarios that really hurt the sec.

Miami losing hurt.
Texas tech losing hurt.
USC not finishing ND hurt.

It;s now possible the the big xii gets two.
It’s probable the ACC get at least two.
It’s probable ND gets in at 10-2.

That would preclude 5 for the SEC.

I think aside from a potential 1 loss Aggie, multiple teams may have 2 losses

Probably 4 for the SEC. Three from the B1G, two from the ACC and Big XII and then ND, if they win out. If ND loses again, that may change things

Why? They'd move up in the rankings

Probably so with ACC and Big 12 faltering. I wouldnt want to test it though. Certainly wouldnt get the benefit of the doubt if there are a handful of others with the same record

It’s a mess with Notre Dame and doesn’t the Group of 5 get an auto bid? USF is likely going and taking a spot

No way Ole Miss gets in unless OU loses a 3rd sec game .

Tulane will be our signature win in that scenario.

10-2 may win the SEC. So, yes

Any resume that hinges on… [checks notes]… Tulane, is not worthy of the playoff.

LSU will not be a ranked win at the end of the year. A 9-3 Oklahoma is for sure more deserving than a 10-2 Ole Miss… especially if they have the head-to-head win.

Yes the top G6 team gets in automatically. So, in a scenario with 4 from the SEC, 3 from the B10, and 2 from ACC & B12 eliminates ND
