The SCar game will tell us a lot about this team.

Last season we regressed big time offensively in the second half of the year.

Milroe was abysmal outside of the LSU game.

SCar is a very bad football team. We need to win this by 20 plus and we shouldn't allow more than 1 TD.

I wanna see us play elite ball all around or we probably aren't natty material.

If we don't win by 20+ and we allow more than 1 TD, should we fire KDB?

Win the game. That's all that matters. Period.

We are at the end of a brutal stretch of games. South Carolina will be putting everything into this game. They have a very talented QB that is capable of putting the game on his shoulders and going off.

We should absolutely win the game. We are the better team. But it's going to be a challenge.

The Uga game this yr answered a lot of doubts about DeBoer’s future at Bama. Not because it was Uga, because it was Uga at their house and a payback factor from last yr.

Ty is much harder to defend I would think then Jalen. I won’t waste time with details we all know

This team needs a much much needed break I’m sure their mentality and physicality exhausted after that gauntlet. Hell I need a wk off myself, lol.

think this will be a grind, ugly and damn near a loss, but bama will make play to win this at the end

Literally everyone was saying that after FSU.

I thought about it, then looked at his buyout. So I knew he wasn't going anywhere with just that loss. He'd have to have an absolute collapse. Unfortunately people's brain have been scrambled and nobody has any patience anymore.

A lot has changed in the past seven weeks. People were emotional after that game and rightly so, but the team has responded and the coaches are to credit for that (as they were to blame for the opener).

This is not 2018. We aren't going to go on the road and blast SEC teams by three touchdowns most of the time, even teams that struggle like the Cocks have. Any win is a good win.

Football does appear to be changing some. You dont really see anyone getting beat by 50 anymore.

The question is will the coaching staff prepare the team enough to win a road game against a unranked team.

Last year they did not.

You can go back to the last three years of the Saban era and us going on the road and playing well was rare. We won most, but we lost several, and even in wins we rarely separated ourselves.

Honestly, I’d take an injury free, 1 point win right flipping now

I'm not sure that it will. They aren't good. We should comfortably, and likely will.

I don't think that there are a ton of questions about this team that the last 4 games didn't answer.

I think it's fair to wonder if the team will show up in a situation that is ripe for a letdown. Last year we had a couple of these, after defeating UGA losing a road game at Vandy where we didn't seem prepared very well, and then after beating LSU losing at Oklahoma where at least offensively we didn't seem prepared.

Of the current stretch, this would be the easiest one for the team to take lightly (this is the only opponent that hasn't been in the top 15). I personally think this team is wired differently and that won't happen, but they did fail in similar opportunities last year, and those failures ultimately cost them a playoff spot. We only have last year and this one to judge the Deboer era from, so they do have something to prove still.

I see your point, but I think that after what happened against a bad FSU team, its hard to imagine that this team will take any team lightly.

I think at this point, given your history of posting negative things about coaches and the team ....

Why should we take you serious?

The team slowly regressed throughout the season and their mentality to overcome challenges wasn't strong... This year team is completely opposite and they've proved that.

We need to win. It'd be nice if it was somewhat comfortable. That's basically it. There are no more qualifiers for wins anymore. Win games, move on.

We've played 4 straight physical wars against good teams. This team is likely beat up and mentally exhausted. We have a bye and a stretch run coming up. This trip will not be easy unless Carolina hands it to us, which they might because they are bad.

My greatest confidence this week comes from Mike Shula still being employed as the Cocks' offensive coordinator.
