That is it. That is the post. Dude has done phenomenal work building A&M into a force to be reckoned with.

And the pile of money in NIL doesn't hurt.

So far it looks that way. I remember people on here thinking he was no different than Mark Stoops when we hired him... glad that doesn't seem to be the case.

No one has done more with less than Elko. Arguably, maybe Cignetti but I think that team is more talented than A&M.

Do not disagree. But LSU has spent a ton of money in NIL and we have nothing to show for it. Programs begin with the HC. And Elko is getting the job done. Respect.

He’s no drama, has clear expectations, and has a great football mind for details. Bonus … he loves Texas A&M.

And he doesn’t put up with garbage.

He’s exactly the hire we needed after Jimbo.

Elko's done well so far but there's nothing "less" about A&M. Jimbo handed him a program in the top 5 of the talent composition index.

I wish they played Bama, Georgia or Ole Miss.

I actually think LSU wins this Saturday. Vandy is a good team and winning on the road is tough.

With your backs against the wall now, knowing you can’t afford another loss, you will give them hell

Very happy with Coach Elko.

When my son was younger he attended a couple of the Jimbo Fosher football camps and when Elko was the Dc o had probably a 45 minute conversation with him that ranged all over the place. He is a hell of a brilliant coach and I love the grit he has instilled in the team.

That toughness is hard to come by with so many players being coddled from the jump.

Unfortunately we can’t control that. But Elko hasn’t had a slip-up this year, up to this point, in the ones he can control.

Very few Texas A&M coaches, if any, can say the same. So you’ll have to pardon our current contentment with our coach. We’re breathing rare air.

I’m pretty happy so far, 1.5 seasons after a program implosion, mass player exodus, complete rebuild, navigating NIL and making defense a priority and to top it off letting an OC do their job

Jimbo was a mistake in hindsight

Not denying you Aggies have a good team, and possibly a great one. You’re the Texas of last year where they benefited from playing the lower half of teams, and last year we all gave them shite for it.

You can’t control your schedule, but when you look at going into Death Valley this weekend, it will be very tough.

They only wish this because they don’t like us having the benefit of a weaker schedule. Georgia can play the SEC east for a. Decade and everyone is okay with it. But someone outside the Big 6 getting a break and it’s “You should have played a harder schedule”.

Shut the frick up already.

Aggies didn’t make the schedule. Play the games you have and win what’s in front of you.

Eventually A&M will have to play in Atlanta and you will get your chance assuming A&M dominates their easy schedule.

It will all be known eventually.
