Understandably so. It’s been a tough four game stretch.

Playing 4 straight ranked teams in a row mid-season without a week off is insane. I'd love to know the last time someone did that and went 4-0 and how many times that's ever happened.

Earlier it showed that we did it in 2016.

Yup. Just hoping to get past South Carolina next week and let the guys get rested up for the home stretch. This game has all the makings for a classic trap game.

Yep. Get past SC and OU and we are LIKELY getting in. And if we get in, I like our chances. There are no superteams, we look as good as anyone.

Daniel Hill was not tired.

He finished it off nicely. Really glad to see him rise up and get some tough yards. He has looked like our RB2 the last couple weeks.

The great thing isn’t we have been seeing improvement on the OL and DL each of the last 4 games. More of the OL but the defense has been playing a little better except for a handful of busted coverage plays. We did tend to go prevent in the 2nd half which was a shame. Have them too many 8-15 yard plays.

I’d normally agree but South Carolina is not good. Like bad. I have full confidence Ty will have the offense ready

Our running game and OL getting on the same page has been extremely refreshing.

South Carolina has a make shift offensive line out there. Our guys SHOULD do well against them. However, Sellers is incredibly hard to tackle. Big, strong dude.

Their star edge guy (drawing a blank on his name, he's #6) was hurt yesterday. If he can't go next week, they're in a world of hurt. Former Tide LBs Justin Okoronkwo and Shawn Ryan are starting for the Gamecocks. I'm sure they'll be extra inspired.

Still, if our guys play hard, I think we win that one. I'll be the stands for that one on the South Carolina side (my son-in-law in on the NCAA compliance staff at USCe and got me a ticket).

However, the original point is right. Our guys DESPERATELY need some rest. You can tell they're really beat up right now.

A couple of toss sweeps opened up the run game. I have no clue why we didn't run that with Riley!

No one in the SEC had ever done that without a bye and won the games. Reminder that the current #1 team will finish the season having played one currently ranked team - the one that just scraped by Kentucky.

Agreed!! Last night I felt as though Hill should have been number one. I'm not so sure that Jam was 100%. I'm glad he was in and able to contribute, but I bet Hill beating on the defense and allowing Jam to relieve Hill would have probably helped our rushing a little better. I think the other 2 will be a nice change of pace after a 1-2 punch of Miller and Hill for 3 quarters.

***I'm not saying Hill to be #1 RB all the time......just after Miller had his bell rung against Mizzou, I thought Hill was a little better and at 100% where Jam didn't appear to be.

Yea it’s been a grind. Need to just find a way to get a win, no matter how ugly, at South Carolina and then regroup and rest up in the bye week.
