A tier 2 school like Kentucky or Ole Miss should leap at the chance to hire Billy Napier

If Stoops does leave, I could see Billy Napier having success at a place like Kentucky, as long as his contract specifies that he has to hire an OC and cannot call his own plays.

He does seem to pull talent and do the behind the scenes program stuff right, just is a pure retard on gameday.

Taking the Madden controller away from him, so a non-moron can call the offense, coupled with giving him more time to make sure 11 men are on the field each play and learning when to call timeouts would make him a good hire for a place like Ole Miss or Kentucky.

I can’t imagine he’ll be getting a P4 HC job anytime soon.

Maybe the Tulane job after Sumrall to Kentucky

Random thought: we know the Rant has some idiots, there were/are at least a few on the rant asking if we want Napier as OC at LSU

Ole miss will match whatever florida offers Kiffin. He would also go to a rebuilding program that will fire him after 8 wins. Kiffins leash will be shorter than Napier’s guarantee it

Why would Ole Miss need to hire a new coach?

This would be funny because Tulane football has had more success as an SEC member than Kentucky.

Some staff will grab him to recruit I'm sure.

He is a really good dude. Not getting a legit OC may have actually been what killed his career more than anything else.

Like Josh Pate said if you go to places like Ohio State, Georgia, and then go to Florida they were all run the same way. Florida was doing things the way they were supposed to be doing them... just didn't translate to the field for whatever reason.

No need. A tier 3 school in Florida already made that hire a few years ago.

Stoops has beaten Billy. Why hire Billy to replace him?

LMAO. Even Kentucky has been ranked in the top 10 more recently than Florida.

There’s nothing to rebuild at Florida. There’s enough talent on the current roster to win 10 games. All it needs is a competent coach.

Sad to see so many Ole Miss Dumpster Program and Kentucky fans in denial.

Billy would be a good hire if his hands were tied on offense

It took 2 generational coaches to win a NC at Florida, college football has changed no one in the past would think Indiana could retain their coach over Penn State, times have changed. It's going to be difficult for Auburn,( if they fire Freeze) and Florida to keep recycling through coaches they will have too much turnover in their roster to build decent team due to uncertainty

Why would we take from the program that has gone 3-4 against us since 2018.

Somebody's delusional but it ain't us.
