Ole Miss and Tennessee underperforming in big road games

The half-assed screen grab is "Against The Spread as road underdog since 2021."
I'm not betting on either game, but right now the narrative for both Kiffin and Heupel is that they are very strong at home and then forget to show up in big road games. A lot of overlap between their tenures right now. Heupel made the playoffs last season, but if you take that away Tennessee and Ole Miss are pretty much in the same place as programs right now.

I'm guessing Bama & UGA are 4 of the 6 losses for Tennessee. I'm not happy with the road performances, but those are 2 of the toughest environments to play in. I believe Tennessee was leading at the half or tied in several of those which makes it even more frustrating.
Zero excuse for the loss to Arkansas last year. That was a stinker if I've ever seen one.
The one win (a blowout) is against BK in TS

Heupel has a win in Death Valley and Kiffin doesn’t

Florida's problem now

Florida fans are in football hell right now.
Ole Miss and Tennessee fans have blue balls right now, but they still have reason to believe that their programs can get to the next level and that blue balls don't last forever.

Once again we are going to have to show you effin mutts how to beat Bama.

What Tennessee fans cling to and what Georgia fans cling to these days are not the same!

Ole Miss has had a double digit fourth quarter lead in 22 consecutive games. I think we will see the best version of Georgia but I absolutely expect there to be 90 thousand tight buttholes in Sanford stadium late in that game Saturday.

So second half double digit leads. Those were also the only losses in that 22 game span.

Obviously it's not the end of the world, but buddy you got some bad information.

You’ve got us. Georgia by 50 points this weekend. Guaranteed money. Yall are loaded with 5 stars. You have us beat before we even kickoff.

I don't give a shite about spreads. I watched a 1998 bad Tennessee team get a national title by single score wins and a fluke play by the Arkansas QB.
All that matters is the win. We are in a good spot. I hope it holds.

Steeerike 2!
Florida-Ole Miss: was 14-14 at the half. Ole Miss NEVER lead in the 2nd half Final 24-17 Florida.
LSU-Ole Miss: biggest Ole Miss 2nd half leads were 7 points, 17-10 and 23-16.
Kentucky-Ole Miss: Ole Miss biggest lead in 2nd half was 4 points, 17-13

For about 8-9 teams in the SEC, you are only an elite QB away from contending for a championship.
Always good to have an innovative offensive mind in today’s cfb landscape

I watched a 1998 bad Tennessee team
If you really believe that was a bad team you are retarded.
They played 10 bowl teams that year when bowl games actually mattered, including a Donovan McNabb Syracuse squad (best team in their program history) and FSU when FSU was actually elite....not this little modern day paper tiger version that beats up on shitty overrated Bama and LSU teams to open up the season. They were a big time powerhouse in the 90s under Bowden.
Great teams find ways to win tight games and the 98 team was masterful at winning tight games.
And as far as NFL talent goes, that Tennessee team was loaded at all positions and levels. We were absolutely stacked in those Manning and immediate post Manning years.
It was Tennessee, Florida with Spurrier, FSU with Bowden and Nebraska. Those were the biggest national powers in those years.

The FSU quarterback you played was third string, a former high school option quarterback who was trying to learn the ropes of college.

Give him a break, if he was even alive back then he was ringing cowbells and pulling for Jackie Sherrill's Bulldawgs. He didn't become a Tennessee fan until sometime in the last two weeks.
