It seems a shame that in this banner year of coaching searches, Tennessee will not be participating. Although I suppose it is always possible that Heupel drops dead from an obesity-related heart attack at any moment.

I dont think this is going to happen but it isnt totally outside the realm of possibility LSU ends 8-4 (very unlike) or 9-3

Alex Golesh would be Urban 2.0 in Gainesville. I'm shocked they have kept Billy for so long. All they need is a real coach to be elite again.

The only question to me is if they fire him regardless of win or loss after Mississippi State. Realistically this Florida team has the talent to beat (and the coaching to lose to) anyone. A lot of teams are looking vulnerable this season. So I don’t think we want to give opportunity for Billy’s cockroach level survival instincts to kick in.

Franklins firing means Hugh and BIlly are dead men.
Tbh his firing signals like maybe 5 coaches in cfb have enough equity to withstand multiple slight underperforming seasons or one major one.
