I said this yesterday but Gunner is tremendously better at running an offense and playing within a system. Beck is a pure gunslinger at this point, even though I wouldn’t say he was like that at his first season starting for us. His ints are low now (for him) but I’ll be really surprised if he stays a lower mid low int guy forever and into the nfl

How many of those teams he played had defenses with a heartbeat?

Both schedules have been reasonably solid to date. Miami played ND, Florida and FSU already.

Correct.

Georgia had also played a better, tougher schedule.

That’s surprising…no way I would’ve though the passing yards would be close. Hell, Gunner is #3 in QBR across all conferences so far this year.

It's a bit surprising to me as well because Beck passed for over 3400 yards for us last season and Miami is loaded on the OL and at the receiver positions.

I've been impressed with Gunner this year. After the ND game, I had a lot of concerns. Gunner shows great leadership and confidence in the huddle. I can't recall the #, but Gunner had like 3 or 4 3rd/4th down conversion on the last scoring drive vs Auburn. That was some really clutch play. But yah, Branch and also Colbie Young have been 2 guys that Gunner obviously has a lot of confidence throwing the ball too. Beck looked great with McConkey and Bowers.

Stockton throws a way better deep ball than Beck too. One of the biggest memories of the 2023 season was Beck missing a wide open receiver on a deep ball exactly once a game.

Stockton throws it where the nose of the football lands down just like you want it. Maybe one day we'll get to see it more than once every other game.

Pretty much agree with all this.

Also, I'm feeling a little better about the Bama loss after seeing what Ty Simpson and their receivers and their running backs are doing to people. That offense looks really elite. At the time, I was thinking "this team lost to FSU, wtf is going on?". Now it seems FSU was the fluke game, and Bama actually is an elite team.

Additionally, I'm starting to feel like UGA could also flip that switch, so close on so many plays that would have been dominating game changers on offense after watching the Brooks Part 1 breakdown. He didn't say it, but I am seeing the possibility this offense could turn into Ohio State last season where they slept walked through the first half of the season but in the end of season they flipped a switch and became a video game team on offense. If y'all remember, at the beginning of last season, Ohio State fans were wanting to fire Ryan Day. Then his team turned it on when it mattered at the end of the season and won it all. I'm not saying that's what UGA is going to do, but I could see it happening. We seem to be getting visibly better with each game. And we're nothing if not battle tested at this point, with many more battles to fight.

You ever found out why you were banned?

Also is Peter Buck okay?

He hasn't posted since the Bama game

I'll comment on this later. Don't want to get banned on my first day back.

He's been a very very busy man. And he may have lost his login credentials and if not recoverable, we could see him around soon in a new form. Keep a lookout.

Murray is catching some heat after his opinion on Gunner.

He's right though

He missed a few to help over the middle because he was throwing line drives.

Brooks Austin made a good point in that we should be happy he is at least throwing those balls now. Hopefully he continues to work on the touch.
