This is just a quick summary I've thrown together that I think the PTB's would consider..

Current P4 coaches
Brent Key
Rhett Lashlee

Current G5 coaches
Jon Sumrall
Jamey Chadwell

OC's
Garrett Riley
Kendal Briles
Kyle Flood

DC's
DJ Durkin
Glenn Schumann

Other considerations
Charles Kelly

If I'm hiring and I have the money and support from the PTB I make Marcus Freeman say no.

I hope it’s a coach with a defensive mind. I’m tired of these offensive gurus, they don’t know how to adjust. They get so caught up in their schemes and don’t evolve when defenses eventually figure them out

Will these coaches need 3 or more years?

And, is the grass greener where they are?

That’s all we need to know.

Where the hell did you pull Jamey Chadwell from LOL?

Dude is going backwards at Liberty:

13-1
8-4
2-4

I want throw the farm at Layne Kiffen and make him say no. Idk what to do any more tbh. It’s so numbing being an Auburn football fan.

Seeing Kiffin use LAMP statements like I always wanted to be like Spurrier to keep Florida fans thirsty is not something I want every single year.

Any thoughts on Alex Golesh at USF?

I heard Joe Brady doesn't want to come back to college but would he to be a HC?

Will Stein at Oregon?

I don't know anything about these guys just throwing out names of guys who are thought to be future HCs.

Lane would be the dream scenario but I think that ship sailed last time.

If not Lane, I want a defensive guy.

Seriously, if anyone on his list is being considered outside of Schumann, Key, or possibly Sumrall, we are in bad shape.

Same. lets move away from offensive minded HCs and go back to a defensive HC. let him hire a damn good OC and get out of his way. I don't know this for sure, but it just "seems" like it's easier for the HC to take care of the defense while being the HC. free up the OC from having to do anything but recruit and run the offense.

I wouldn't mind a defensive guy with a top notch OC, but I'm struggling on names for a top tier DC that would be a good fit. Schumann has a ton of program running experience and is a solid DC obviously, but who else would fit?

I dont trust the Heupel offense so I probably wont trust Golesh.

We need to hire a DC or HC with defensive acumen. When the star fades for an offensive HC we are forced to ride with it. So tired of that.

Good Lord! If you are going to suggest someone who has really never done anything but get fired, at least learn how to spell his name.

Other than a conference championship at UFC, or whatever mid-level school he landed at after getting fired by Saban, Kiffin has never won shite. He's a smoke and mirrors gambler. At best, he's a good OC, other than that, he's a joke with a long history of very bad judgement calls.

Ryan Silverfield at Memphis should also be on the list.

Corch, of that list, and being objective, Lashlee has the best resume. List is not good but it is what it is.
