Our assistants aren’t championship caliber assistants, period. Not saying they totally suck hind teat but they’re not suitable for the new portal era.

Hiring assistants solely based on recruiting acumen (like the DB coach from USC) is pointless in an era where recruiting is solely about cutting a check.

I think I’ve figured out the problem with our whole team. It starts from the top down but it’s not a new thing. Just took this new era of CFB to expose it.

It feels like they have someone listening in to the calls Schumann is making. I mean they are making him look like an absolute fool.

A team can only go as far as their coordinators can take them. We had super star coordinators in Monken and Lanning. We've taken a step back with Bobo and Schumann. It is what it is.

Do you honestly think that one of the greatest defensive coaches working today - CKS - is letting his DC just bumble around and do stupid shite? Kirby had that job for some of the best defenses of all time.
Or maybe, are we in a talent gap with a a lot of highly skilled but inexperienced players that aren’t where they need to be? Maybe because when you watch football on Sundays you recognize a lot of names.
Now, if you want to argue that the Saban/Smart defense is outdated and ineffective unless you can stack 5* talent…then that’s interesting. But the idea that a CKS DC is just fricking around without supervision and you can just hire somebody to do it better is just stupid.

It doesn’t help that our offense went 3 & out for what seemed the entire first half. Bozo should understand that he needs to help a struggling defense out at some point.

That's going to be impossible for some because their irrational emotional feelings has given them tunnel vision. They see only see Bobo's perceived mistakes and are blinded to anything and everything else.
