Went looking at your schedule the rest of the year. How y’all feeling? I thought it looks like a breeze. Might actually be y’all’s year to make it to SEC championship AND the Playoffs. Give me a non-biased objective take on the rest of your season. What has gone well; what doesn’t. Where could you guys see a problem that someone from another school isn’t able to see?

Worried about Mizzou and the horns because the will be trying to salvage their season. The rest should be pretty easy.

Mizzou does seem a tough match this year. I don’t think you need to worry about TX. They seem to have imploded. We’ll be a tough match if we can get out offense sorted.. big if.

Taking it one game at a time. One game at a time this year. I refuse to even look up the schedule. Found out we play Florida next after the post conference.

Florida has the talent to be dangerous. SCAR can be dangerous if they catch a few breaks and we keep stepping on our dicks with penalties and turnovers. Arkansas should be a win. We should be favored against LSU, Mizzou, and Texas, but I'd consider all 3 toss-ups. The only guaranteed win left on the schedule is Samford.

Outside of maybe 10 good seasons over the past 85 years… I believe most Ags exercise a bit of caution and restraint when considering the football team.

This years been fun so far… but there’s always something around the corner waiting to kick us in the nuts!

Are all teams that were at one time ranked in the top 25 this season but have since fallen out of the rankings.

That is to say, our schedule looked more daunting in the pre season than it does now. On top of that I would say the production we have gotten from our receiver room and the way our defense has put together a stout front the past couple of weeks is a bit of a surprise to me.

So yeah, we're looking better than I imagined as I assumed by this point we'd have at least one loss and our schedule has taken a slide from pre season expectations.

@LSU
@Missouri
@texas

These are the three key games left on our schedule. And we can certainly drop a game to a team like Florida or Arkansas on the road. But if we get 2 of three wins on the list above I believe that would nearly lock us in to a 10-2 playoff spot with the potential to play for an SEC conference. We can easily drop all 3 and end up at our usual 8-4 or worse.

All three away games against capable opponents is what makes/breaks this season, imo.

I have truly zero expectations. I could see us finishing with anywhere from 1 loss to 4. Florida, LSU, Mizzou, Texas and even SC are all very losable games, but wins wouldn’t be a shock either.

It’s hard to gauge our team at this point. Flashes of brilliance and flashes of meh. If we pull it all together we could easily be a playoff team, but could also see the wheels coming off. Excited to see it play out.

We’re exceedingly good at losing the ones we shouldn’t.

I will say that if this was a Jimbo-coached team, I’d be less excited than I am. But I’m still trying to temper the enthusiasm. Generations of pain has made us suspicious of any success.

We were 7-1 last year and in first place in the SEC with a very manageable closing schedule before the wheels fell off and we had the typical November crash.

I dont think there are any Aggies who feel good about our schedule. It definitely turned out to be one of the easier schedules this year, however I feel like we could lose to any of the remaining teams we play including Arkansas.

I expect to lose to LSU as well. Ill be shocked if we somehow won that game. If we do, it may be a 6-3 final score because I dont see our offense doing much against the LSU defense.

I expect us to go 8-4 until we don't.

There's no game left on the schedule where it would be an upset if we won, but LSU will be favored over us (barring a collapse between now and then), and Missouri and Texas on the road might be favored as well.

I think the best you can say of the schedule is that a playoff spot is doable, and things are laid out about as well as you could ask to make it to Atlanta. Now comes the hard part -- playing the games.

Really don’t like fully buying in before the UF game. Trap game that if we get past ill be officially all in on playoff hype

Assuming we're undefeated going into Baton Rouge i would expect playoffs and either 1 or 2 losses to end the year. 3 would be we’re frauds. Missouri is the most likely loss. We’ll be ready for the swamp pussy cats and UTranny

Part of me wants to have 1 loss and avoid the SEC championship game now that it doesn’t mean as much. Part of me wants to play in the game and win so we walk away with something if the playoffs don’t go our way

We will go as far as Reed takes us. He’s the X factor. The rest of the talent is there

Elko just feels like the right coach. A&M with an elite coach to go with the $ and recruits and fanbase is dangerous. Not something experienced in many aggies lifetimes which is pathetic from a university whose fans care so much

Also A&M is in with 2 losses. And also in before Notre Dame. If Notre Dame wins out then @ND might be the best non-conference win of the year among playoff teams

First of all it’s still mid season, the cupcakes are out of the way. At least half the teams the Aggies play or will olay have been ranked at some ne time this year. It’s still a wide open race.

I honestly have no idea. See us dropping at least 1. Or we could crash and burn like last year. Reed needs to get better on his deep game. Defense has done really well in SEC play so far, but there's better offenses ahead.

I dont think fans of any other school are capable of finding ANY problem whatsoever in our schedule, so I'll pass trying to speak objectively about it.
