Lot of sources including Clay Travis saying ESPN has taken Finebaum off the air due to his possibly running for office as a Republican with a Trump indorsement. I could absolutely see ESPN doing this. Disney owned and they have given Stephen A. free reign to spew racist rants for the last 2 decades.

Maybe they just silenced him because his show is terrible.

Stop the jealous, Stephan A. rants are sports related and non-hateful, the insecurity is seeping out of your pores. Seek help!

He actually has expressed interest in a political career.

quote:

Stephen A. Smith, Host of ESPN's "First Take," hammered the Democratic Party and suggested he has "no choice" but to consider a run for president.

"I have no choice, because I've had elected officials, and I'm not going to give their names, elected officials coming up to me. I've had folks who are pundits come up to me. I've had folks that got a lot of money, billionaires and others that have talked to me about exploratory committees and things of that nature. I'm not a politician. I've never had a desire to be a politician," Smith told ABC News' "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl.

Smith reiterated that because of the number of people asking him to consider a run, he has to leave the door open.

???? He was talking to Stephen A about Belichick like yesterday.

I haven't seen him taken off of anything I've had Youtube clips come all week with him all over them.
