A Manning… does he transfer to UT this offseason?

Does UT take him? Vols are going lose a QB and Joey is out of eligibility. Would it make sense to bring Arch in to compete with a RSF and a true Freshman?

Arch can be fixed but who is going to take a chance on him?

I have a hard time seeing any team making Arch a decent nil offer….

He has potential and could be fixed but it will take a while,,,’

Maybe USCw and Lincoln will think they could fix him.

What makes you think ya'll can fix him? Do you not think that Arch Manning has received the absolute best coaching and training you can have? Some kids peak in high school and reach their potential early. He played against some really bad competition in high school and was EXTREMELY overrated. He has been in the same system for 3 years, a system that has a great history of producing good QB's and he still doesn't look good. This may be just who he is, a mediocre QB that should probably be playing for a team like Tulane or a Mountain West team and not an SEC, BIG or ACC team.

Well he's a redshirt sophomore right? He could stay for another two seasons if he needed to. I know he's draft eligible this year but if he wanted or needed to stay and improve he has two more seasons after this one.

So am I, but I’m not going to hold out for a call to the combine.

He should go to Miami. They do wonders with transfer QBs

Maybe he'd actually have a line to block for him.

Arch won't go anywhere where he thinks some other teams on the schedule have more talent. If TT didn't have a good young QB Arch could have went there. Maybe Miami?

Not at all. He’s 3 years removed from being a regular starter before this year and TU has been detrimental to him.

When? Seriously, TU with Sark hasn’t improved a QB.

Why would he take a step back?

My memory might be fading, but I thought you were one of the few decent UT posters around here. This is a terrible post.

I'm confused. Isn't he already at "UT"?

The Sark system both at Texas and Bama produced quite a few really good QB. He has had successful offenses pretty much everywhere he has been and his QBs usually perform much better than Manning has performed. Arch doesn’t appear to be getting any better and yes, being in a system for this long should produce better results.

He isn't going anywhere.

He will be starting at Texas and getting better for 3 years.
